Women's Health Tasmania's Walking Group

Walking Group

Our friendly walking group meets each week for walks in the Hobart metropolitan area, led by a Health Worker. The walk begins at 10.30am.  Walking pace will vary between each individual and we walk for an hour.

Please wear comfortable shoes and prepare yourself for possible changes in weather e.g. temperature change, rainfall and/or wind.

You're welcome to join us for a social coffee and catch up afterwards at a cafe/suitable location in the area. You are always encouraged to bring a drink bottle to keep hydrated, particularly if there aren't shops nearby. If you have any health conditions that may require medication at short notice (e.g. asthma) please have these on you at all times.

If you don't have transport, we can take up to 3 passengers in our car, leaving from the Women's Health Tasmania's office at 25 Lefroy Street at 10am. You must call the day before to let us know if you want to go in our car.

If you'd like to attend please contact us on 6231 3212 or email: info@womenshealthtas.org.au
