Some of the many topics covered in recent years include mental health, nutrition and exercise, stroke, violence against women, menopause, financial planning, digital technology and brain training.

For help to enroll or if you have any questions call 6231 3212 and talk to Jo.

Workshops coming soon to Devonport and George Town.

What is MVP?

MVP gives us the skills to help end violence in our communities by helping us to learn how to be effective bystanders.  Bystanders can confront, interrupt or prevent violence.

The workshop is for the general community, community workers and post-secondary students.  It is highly interactive and starts conversations about how we react to issue ranging from bullying to family violence.

The workshop will give you the chance to develop and practice concrete options you can safely use in a range of situation.  It challenges us all to be leaders and proactive bystanders.

The workshops are funded through a grant provided by the Tas Community Fund to the Hobart Women's Shelter, Women's Health Tasmania, Engender Equality and the Women's Legal Service.

Contact us for more information regarding programs and forums that may be on near you.

For health and community sector professionals

We provide talks and workshops for students and workplaces, subject to social distancing requirements.  We can also offer them on Zoom.  Contact us for more information.
