Rosie the Riveter Stories
As a woman and health professional, for many years I’ve referred and encouraged other women to use what’s available at WHT or as a source of information about what else is available for women. Women are it’s core business, which means a broader understanding of women’s lives and wellbeing needs.
In the past few years, I’ve used the WHT library for research, joined Ageing Well with Weights, Meditation and Yoga classes. I can’t live without yoga - my outfit is definitely not lycra-lovely and our teachers tailor the classes to varying abilities. Our final yoga pose is not savasana, it’s a supported chair pose at a cafe with a bunch of wonderful yogis.
